Family is the first place where the child learns about people and the world around them. Bringing our family into this Early Years Learning Services elucidates importance of how we have essentially understood the pivotal role of families in the child’s life. There’s a beautiful focus on the growth of the child at our centre and that’s what’s so endearingly special about our centres.
We are believers of ensuring that the children have a good sense of belonging, being and becoming through our centre setup. Our centres have zones that focus on the child’s well-being ie. safety, learning numbers, learning shapes, reading zone, colour zone and story place.
Apart from this the activities ensure that the children are ingrained with a high sense of rootedness and belonging to the community and the place they live. This local context then helps them understand the regional, national or international contexts later in life. Our curriculum framework prepares the child in the foundational early years to become a better learner. The transition is smooth for the kids of our centre to move into school life with adaptiveness and eagerness to learn more.
Learn Smart Early Learning Centres have established within their centres a love for curiosity, play, reasoning and awareness with the immediate environment that impacts the child. We amplify the fact that children are inherently curious and therefore our features; be it facilities provided or curriculum designed, brings out the curious nature that anticipates the emergence of thinking, questioning and understanding.

The Belonging, Being and Becoming theme is concurrent to the EYLF of childhood education as espoused by the NQS of Australian Education and our childhood educators are thoroughly indoctrinated into the guidelines of the same.
Documenting the learning
of children
In accordance with the National Quality Framework, our Educators implement a curriculum which will reflect each individual child. Our program is developed to assist each child’s development and enhance their learning.
Our program will ensure that:
- Children are encouraged to express themselves creatively through a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities.
- Children’s fine and gross motor skills are strengthened and developed through a wide variety of both indoor and outdoor activities including manipulative play, block play, carpentry, water and sand play, dramatic play, drawing and other physical activities such as running and skipping.
- Maths and science concepts along with natural aspects of our environment are encouraged through block play, building, cooking, water play, collecting harmless leaves and insects.
- Language development is encouraged through staff modelling, news, show and tell, story time, games, poems, and drama.
- School readiness as well as social/emotional and independence skills are strengthened through a wide range of activities designed to enhance a child’s senses.
- Music and movement activities encourage physical, social, intellectual, and fun areas of a child’s development.
- Children are taught the importance of essential risky play that will help boost children’s wellbeing; will help children learn about managing situations and are able to assess risk.

Our NQS Ratings
Our curriculum is designed in a way that upholds the interests and skills of each child. These skills are observed and extended to make the foundation of the program stronger by encouraging families to participate, and being open to sharing information.
Our experienced Educators observe each child and make notes to track the conceptual understanding of the learning of each child. Documentation of child’s learning and updated educator training has accredited our centres that meet NQS parameters adequately.
Our Program
Our Kindergarten and Childcare centre inculcate a holistic program with a structured framework and outcomes that is developed to assist each child’s development and enhance their learning. This Framework is based on the Concept of Being, Belonging and Becoming.
The 5 Learning Outcomes are:

Program Outcomes
- Creative expression through variegated activities and games inside the rooms and within the centre premises (outdoors under supervision).
- Manipulative play, block stacking, water activities, sand play, drama and drawing focus on the fine motor coordination and development while skipping, running and other gross motor activities too are encouraged to strengthen holistic physical development of the children
- Maths and science concepts are integrated into the natural world and environmental studies through heatless cooking, building blocks, collecting leaves and insects
- Language assimilation and development is encouraged through staff modelling, news, show and tell, story time, games, poems and drama.
- Peer interaction and more opportunities to become independent helps school readiness. This is solidified through a wide range of activities that require life skills.
- Music, dance and movement activities spark physical, social, intellectual and fun areas of the brain.
- Our program outcomes adhere to our curriculum objectives and are aligned to the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
